N100 Hearing Features

Improved Speech Recognition

People with hearing loss often experience challenges with speech recognition, especially in conversations with multiple speakers or noisy environments such as a restaurant. With advanced speech recognition features, ultra-fast algorithms process and deliver clear sound to your ears, enabling you to focus on the voices you want to hear.

Our speech recognition features rely on a combination of noise reduction, directionality (microphones), and improved amplification (elevating the target speaker above other environmental sounds) to provide effortless speech recognition. For people with hearing loss, struggling with conversation in various environments, this combination of speech recognition features helps to reduce listening effort throughout the day – whether you’re at the breakfast table or the meeting table at the office.

Own Voice Recognition

As a part of our speech recognition features, we include own voice recognition features. For many of us with hearing loss, recognizing our own voice can be a challenge in the listening process. Our own voice recognition features enable you to experience the sound of your own voice naturally, balanced with the sounds in your environment. Whether in a big group conversation or in a quiet library, own voice recognition helps you manage your relationship to the sound of your own voice.

Wireless Connectivity

Not only does N100 provide you with extraordinary access to the sounds in your life, they also connect to your smartphone and other electronic devices. Did you know that 60% of people hold their phones to their ears when talking? With hearing aids, this could be inconvenient and even interfere with clear sound. A wireless connection to your smartphone eliminates this and provides a comfortable and clear listening experience with your phone conversations. Additionally, this wireless connection enables you to stream audio directly from your devices to your ears. Whether it’s a hilarious viral video or your favorite rock album, experience the true joy of seamless audio streaming through wireless connectivity.

Furthermore, with a wireless connection, you can make adjustments to your listening experience with ease, controlling volume and program features through a simple app on your smartphone.

Other Listening Features

N100 is equipped with a number of excellent features to provide a robust and well-rounded listening experience. In certain acoustically challenging spaces such as hallways, lobbies, auditoriums, and atriums, wearers may experience lack of clarity due to degraded sound. In these cavernous environments, sounds bounce off the walls and ceilings and may create a muddle signal. N100 has built in sound clarifying features to address this phenomenon, by balancing the overamplified, uncomfortable sounds. This provides you with sound clarity and an effortless listening experience.

  • Music lovers will appreciate the care that N100 gives to the complexities of music sounds. While traditional hearing aids focus on improving speech sounds, N100 takes it a step further with features that improve music listening, whether it is recorded or live.

This frustrating condition, in which people experience phantom noises, is not curable, but it is treatable with tinnitus sound therapy. N100 offers a number of tinnitus sound therapy options, with synthetic tones to soothe and alleviate the sounds of tinnitus.

For people who experience single-sided hearing loss (unilateral hearing loss), N100 is available is CROS or BiCROS options, which picks up sounds from 360-degrees of the wearer’s environment and mixes and balances audio data so that both ears experience the full richness of sounds in the environment.
