Improved Speech Recognition

When it comes to speech recognition, many people with hearing loss say that while they can hear, it is difficult to understand. With improved speech recognition features, the N13 provides you with noise reduction, directionality, and steering amplification to help you focus on the speakers’ voices that you want to hear. With directional microphones, background noise falls to the side, allowing you clear access to speech sounds of the person in front of you.

Through this wireless connection, you may stream phone calls, FaceTime, music, movies, and other media directly from your smartphones (or other electronic devices) directly to your ears. This provides a seamless listening experience. Furthermore, wireless connectivity offers up a number of intelligent options that make your listening experience even more natural.

Through a connection with your smartphone, make adjustments to your listening experience, controlling volume or program features with discretion on an app. With a geo-tagging feature, your N13 and your smartphone will archive your personal listening preferences in saved locations. When you return to these locations, your hearing aids will automatically adjust your hearing aid features so that you experience optimal hearing – without lifting a finger!

Wireless connectivity also allows you to connect your N13 to a number of accessories and home entertainment systems via Bluetooth. Use your N13 as stereo headphones for your favorite movies and music.

For music lovers, N13 is equipped with special music listening features so that you can appreciate your favorite albums and live performances with clarity. Traditional hearing aids focus on speech sounds, but N13 has included features to capture the richness of music sounds as well, providing you access to the full spectrum of music. Programs include live music and recorded music options.

If you experience unilateral (one-sided) hearing loss, N13 is available as a CROS/BiCROS hearing aid, which picks up sound from the other ear and balances it for a fuller sound picture. People with tinnitus will appreciate tinnitus sound therapy available on N13, with synthetic and nature tones.
